They really could not have scripted a more beautiful June day for their wedding celebration . . . the temperatures were mild, there were no raindrops in the forecast, and all of the planning and prep had finally come together for one beautiful celebration.
I met up with Sydney and the girls who were getting ready at her aunt's home . . . everyone was relaxed, things were on schedule, and the big day was finally here!
Manny & Sydney chose to do a first glance, seeing each other and being able to have lots of time for bride & groom portraits, as well as family & bridal party portraits before guests started arriving later in the day.
Manny & Sydney designed their day in a unique layout, and opted to celebrate with guests at their reception first. So as guests arrived, they grabbed appetizers and drinks and then were seated for a meal. Toasts were shared, food was served, and guests were able to chat & laugh around tables as they celebrated the couple.
After the meal was over and guests were still chatting, we took the bride & groom up to the ceremony site . . . a gorgeous spot at the top of a hill with rolling fields all around it. They were hoping for a sunset ceremony, but the cloud cover didn't cooperate with that plan very well. It was still such a gorgeous backdrop, though, and it the perfect place for this gorgeous couple to say "I do" . . .
After we got the couple tucked back away with the rest of the bridal party, the music started playing & guests made their way up the path to the ceremony site . . .
Manny & Sydney, thank you so much for letting me capture your special day . . . I can't wait to see how God continues to write you story together as you begin this amazing journey of married life ❤️
